Fantastic news to see pictures of Katic back up and running on his instagram. Looks like he's been absolutely hammering the gym. Fear now tho his game time will be greatly restricted. As i rate balogun and Helander before him. Goldson doesn't drop out so you basically have 4 centre halfs battling for 1 position. What are everybodys thoughts? Helander for me personally.

gives us another strong option at the back. Katic has endless potential in my opinion and must take his chance we he gets it. Helander/ Goldson our best pairing and i agree balogun looks a good signing.

With injuries and suspensions and the amount of games we're going to have, think it's good we've got cover. Think they'll all play a part this season.

Add Edmundson to that list too and we are very well stacked at centre half. It’s a tough choice and one I’m glad I don’t have to make but my personal preference would have to be Katic. I think although still a bit less experienced than Helander Katic is more of an arial threat in the opposition box and has more pace too. It is a very tough choice though as Helander’s timing of the tackle is very good and balogun has hardly put a foot wrong either. Certainly a good problem to have.

Can only be a good thing to have options at the back, Katic has the potential to be class. Up until lockdown he was in great form and the best CB at the club, shame he got injured. ðŸ‘.

I'd judge players on performance not appearence.
What I will say though is I've been impressed with katic, his attitude, wanting to improve, etc. I see a really really good player there.

4 good options before katic. He’s got a great attitude and some good attributes but my word, he’s the worst ball player I’ve seen in a long time. We should loan him out to an spl team in January. I’ve got far greater hopes for Edmundson.

Katic for me is a very important player, his aerial presence is top notch, he strong and a good reader of the game, he's only going to get better with us, hope he gets the nod for the teams with height at the back, ie Celtic! I'll never forget that bullet header that nearly took the net off!

Katie may be a bit ahead of schedule but doubt he’ll be ready to play until around the turn of the year still. Those pics probably just mean he’s back out and able to do some running / building up his training. Won’t be anywhere near to being able to play yet.

I like Katic a lot, probably due to my having a tenner on him scoring the last goal at 50/ 1, at Celtic Park, great potential and very classy looking guy, just hope Gerard thinks that too and doesn’t ignore the boy.

I’d imagine a fit Jack Wilshire wouldn’t be tempted with playing in spl and the glamour of visiting Dingwall Hamilton etc.

Either katic or the fridge will go out on loan next season. Might have to cash in on 2 of our centre half if we keep balogen hellander and Goodson. 1 of the other2 go on loan and prob 1 of the whole group has to be sold. Then with mayo coming through maybe even 2 being sold within next 2 years.
