Instead of asking if we can win free points for Edouard testing positive why can't we wish the guy good health 1st, there's rivalry then just being horrible, do you really think Rangers are going go through this season with a positive test? Asking for the points is opening a big can of worms.

I wish him well and don't want anyone catching C.V. I would rather he was playing along with their strongest 11 and they can all watch us destroy them on their own turf.

07 Oct 2020 09:01:34
Nobody has wished him ill health 🤔
People are just questioning the rules as the SPFL are making them up as they go along and have different rules for different competitions. 👍

07 Oct 2020 09:08:58
Correct sweep, would rather beat them with their best players on the pitch anyway. Get well soon eddy 🔴⚪️🔵👍.

Exactly Seeep! No team should be penalised if a player contracts this deadly virus through no fault of their own.
I hope the boy is ok and makes a speedy recovery.

Sweep 1.nobodys asking for 3 points. do you think kilmarnock and forfar wanted to have to forfeit there games. fact of the matter is the sfa have set the precident yesterday making 2 teams forfeit games. they can't change the rules just because its celtic. personal I hope sfa say to celtic the same either play or forfeit and celtic play as this will instantly make worldwide news and make the fools that run the sfa hopefuly stand down. what the sfa did yesterday was shocking. let's see who actualy runs the sfa as if they change tact for celtic then more needs to be done to remove them from there post.

Hes a fit and healthy guy.95% he won't have any syptoms if he does more be like a runny nose.

07 Oct 2020 10:44:56
Wouldn't bother me if they had to field a team of kids and we won 1-0 or 10-0. The 3 points are all that matters.
You don't get extra points for bragging rights. 👍.

The thing is though, folk are comparing two totally different situations and trying to suggest that the SFA are at it, or there is a conspiracy again. I’m sure no one wanted to cancel Kilmarnock’s game but they had at least 6 players test positive with a whole load more having to isolate and could not physically put a team out on the park due to government rules (not SFA rules) . Here we have situation where one player has tested positive (and may actually still make the game depending on how long he has to isolate) . The rest of their players currently have all tested negative (this could of course change, but it could also change for us over the next ten days or so with so many travelling for internationals) . The whole situation is very fluid and decisions will have to be made on a case by case basis depending on the risk factors and whether or not clubs can still put out a team who have all tested negative. You’ve seen in England teams like Liverpool playing with Sane and Thiago both out after testing positive but the rest of the team being ok. So there’s no point in saying “a president has been set” because each case will be different.

Davie Douglas be careful what you wish for, could you imagine Rangers needed 3 points from the last match and were told they had to forfeit the title because a player contracted C. V.

07 Oct 2020 13:14:51
The sfa up to no good again, another belter 🤭👍.

07 Oct 2020 13:24:50
Gers1978. Sweep1. If you re read my post I specifically said what the sfa did was wrong. there's a worldwide C.V. and because of that teams got penalised. the games were not cancelled to a later date that it should have been. the sfa awarded 3 points to the team that never had C.V.. does this sound fair. kilmarnock issued dates that the rescheduled match could be played yet the sfa threw that out and awarded the other team 3 points. They now can't change tact because celtic may be in that position. 1 rule for both of the teams yesterday then 1 rule for all. and again will say that this was wrong. maybe actually read what's written before trying put me down by replying. cheers.

{Ed033's Note - There's worldwide flu every year.

07 Oct 2020 13:51:23
BMG, thru no fault of his own pushing it. We are all sitting at home on our arse self isolating, and he obviously hasn't been. Tic paying him lot, of money and he at best been cavalier, if not downright stupid. That been said, if Trump can recover, in three days, hope springs eternal.

07 Oct 2020 13:56:36
100% sweep totally agree.

07 Oct 2020 14:02:14
is this another sweeping point with no relevance or reality? the reality being one young player with C.V. (who nobody here has wished ill), an otherwise fit team and a competition not offering points as yet except for its cup. grip.

07 Oct 2020 14:36:03
Is there any evidence of him being cavalier or downright stupid, MBW? If so, can you please elaborate?

07 Oct 2020 14:38:08
Correct Eric.

07 Oct 2020 14:43:15
Ed, there is worldwide flu every year, the fatalities in that aspect are normally of elderly age ( some with underlying issues) the common flu doesn't kill thousands upon thousands of young healthy men women n children each year. But yeah its all a big conspiracy.
On the Edouard situation, he needs to isolate for 7 days ( in france) 10 (in the UK) so essentially he must isolate for 3 days when he returns from France. however it has been suggested that ( im. assuming) one or more of his international team mates also has it, therefor he must isolate for 14 days per WHO rules.

07 Oct 2020 15:01:55
daviedouglass, I wasn’t actually posting that in relation to yourself, just in general to folk who are suggesting Celtic should have to forfeit the game in some way based on what happened with kilmarnock. If you read my post again what you’ll see I’m saying is that both situations are completely different. And also I very much doubt we will go through the season without any of our players catching it so let’s hope that the ‘president’ isn’t to award other teams the points in all cases.

07 Oct 2020 16:03:26
Oddboy has to be out. Christie too. Don't want their best 11. In the ring do you want the hardest guy who'll give you a kickin or someone you know you can take. We'll beat them either way. Rules are rules. I was right the other day when I said about seeing bongo on the RFC Facebook page.

It wasn't anywhere else. Wilshire I don't know. Another rossiter I thinks. Get well to the two lads, even though they're on the dark side. Wonder if Celtic supporters would wish RFC players well. Doubt it. Keep safe lads.

07 Oct 2020 19:51:03
There is evidence of him being cavalier and downright stupid BMGH01 - he bought all of Bolingoli's furniture he left behind! 😂😂😂.

07 Oct 2020 20:51:59
Every team is likely to be effected with the virus over the rest of the season (hopefully not) squad size is going to be the factor now.
