When was the last time any of our players got picked for England?
The last one that I can think of would be Gazza maybe.

Don't know but it will be a long time before one is picked, Ryan kent is nowhere the standard of Rushford, Stirling or Greenwood.

Put Kent in any of the top EPL sides on his current form and he would be getting massive plaudits and talked about for England and over hyped like they tend to do down south. He’s our most valuable asset at present and I really hope we manage to keep a hold of him past the window.
Can we afford to KO a bid in the 15-20M region? The prices being spoken of for his ex Liverpool youth teammates are bonkers .

Have to agree with sweep though Kent is nowhere near those players he mentioned and I would be astonished if he got anywhere near the squad. It’s not a snide or backstabbing comment just an opinion.

The problem with scotty123 is imo kent wouldn't have that form in a top side in epl the standard there is so much higher than the spfl. Think he's a great player for us tho.

There has never been anyone good enough since Gazza. As much as I think Kent is a fantastic player for us, he is not getting in that England team just now. Also, as long as he's playing in our league he's never getting in - those days are long past.

Just read up on Ball and he was called up for England when at Rangers but had to withdraw because of injury. Surprise, surprise.
