Good performance last night from the players
Its clear to see we our style is more suited to playing in europe where this space to play proper football.
Allan McGregor is our number 1 keeper and should be first pick he is top class keeper.
Playing in scotland i think we just need add a bit more quality of player to break teams down or change formation and possibly go 2 up top and go a bit more direct.
The leauge is where we need to adapt and this has to be priorty this year.

Its glaringly obvious that our tactics suit european football and not as much the rough and tumble of our domestic game. The sooner stevie realises this the better, having said that, you'd think after two and a bit years he'd have caught on by now. You are absolutely spot on craig. Mcgregor had a great game but let’s not forget he did the exact same as the willem keeper did at 0-0 and wasn’t punished for it as the striker hit the bar. I say keep it going how it is with McLaughlin in for league and mcgregor Europe but they are both quality so either way I don’t feel like we are any weaker, good problem to have.

I'd go with McLaughlan as well Coully.
Sweep I agree to an extent that we need winners but do you not find it strange that in europe we play well even against great sides like porto etc. However with the same players we tend to struggle in the spl, the last two years will tell you that and we have already saw the same patterns emerge this season. We need to adjust our tactics to suit. Its really that simple. Our players have proved they can beat celtic and very good euro teams. But when we go to hearts hibs killie livi etc we drop silly points. Surely we should comfortably beat these sides if we can play celtic and the good euro sides off the park🤔 we can if we adjust tactics to suitðŸ‘.

McGregor for me every game. He's a winner with bagloads of the kind of experience we will need if we want to win trophies this season.

If pavlidis scored the one mcgregor fumbled folk would be on wanting gerrards head for not playing mclaughlin. 2 cracking saves and were in a lucky position to have 2 outstanding keepers.

Yep it's a conundrum, our style is great in Europe, but we can't cope with domestic hammerthowers. Why is Scotland not winning more international matches?
