Great performance and result, liked the look of Jones when he came on, would really like a run of games with Kent left, Jones right and hagi in behind Alf. All in all though, a great night.

I might not be his biggest fan, but tonight is not the time to have a pop at our manager. Fantastic result against a good team and an other European result to be proud of. Now, let's take care of Motherwell!

Ok blue would do, let me explain what our manager can see and you can’t. Jones looked good when he came on because by then they were 4 down, knew they were going out and we’re pushing more and more men forward leaving gaps. Our manager (you know, the one who doesn’t see anything or know tactics) saw this and knew that Jones with his pace would be able to exploit this which he did.
How often in the games we play in the league do teams come out and leave a lot of space at the back for someone like Jones to run into? Or do they usually pack the defence with ten men not allowing any space in behind?
Even if you don’t get that all you had to do was listen to the commentary. Kevin Thomson pretty much said the same thing and talked about how Jones has to learn to adapt his game to fit more into our system and get more game time, which was an interesting insight from someone inside ibrox.

Jones, offers more than pace. You should know this. Put in the ball that secured group stage entry last year.
