My last post not posted. Wasn't controversial by a country mile. I'll have another go on a different topic and see how it goes. We have a strong 22 man squad for tomorrow and excludes two top players in Aribo and Balogun. I don't see where Gerrard sees another midfielder fitting into the picture.

K Fraser we need someone better than what we have that can be more powerful and dominate the ball.

We need a box to box midfielder strong and tough and he will fit in right in the middle.
I personally don’t want the boy from Preston and I don’t think he is what we need.

Davis not going to play every game with his age. jack picks up the odd injury. Kamara blow hot and extremely cold.

I think we need a Roy Keane type character in midfield obviously we can’t afford a player like Keane but it’s the character we need a tough no nonsense hard hitting midfielder who doesn’t accept people ducking out for 10 minutes here and there, who won’t let opponents away with smashing our more skilful players, someone who trains hard, plays harder and leads by example!
Who do we think ticks most of these boxes in our current squad?
