Can not believe the way things have went with Carlos Pena. 3m. Mexican international when we got him. His career has went like a landslide at the rest and be thankful Since. Crazy stuff. Article going abt saying he has joined a non registered team and league. Wtf went on in his head 🤯🤯🤯🤯.

Agree2 Disagree0

Make that a team banned by FIFA and the Mexican league officials. Probably some drug lords local team.

I was a half decent player too till I hit the drink 😊⚽🍷.

like afie these boys can come from some pretty terrible places and substance abuse can still be old fashioned.

11 Sep 2020 12:50:53
Seen flashes of what he was that game against the Sheep, had a lot of talent but sadly wasted, too much powder and drink, sad state of affairs, he will be found dead at some point after having wasted the talent God gave him, what a c**t.

The mexican's were never good enough for us and should never have signed them. 5mil approx and wages wasted on them. 👍.

Unfortunately the lad had a serious drink problem.

11 Sep 2020 14:33:07
I live near where Pena did, and I know a few players of different clubs who all said he didn’t respect any rules and thought getting pissed every day was fine as he could afford it, very very poor due diligence on the signing part in the first place, Mexico’s a rubbishhole outside the holiday parts.

Agree Tom. He could be seen in Tesco Milngavie before training. Turning up late stinking of alcohol.

On the plus side got keys to my new home today, Ayrshire here we come,

11 Sep 2020 16:11:55
He obviously like to party a bit to much.
You should give him a shout John 25 when you move into your new house for the housewarming party. Or maybe not such a good idea as he would ruin your new sofa getting big greasy head prints all over it. haha enjoy Ayrshire and all the great golfing that comes with it.

11 Sep 2020 16:48:52
Cheers 3 cheers. Look forward to full time return to Scotland. No flights to see home games yahoo.
Yes and theee rounds of golf a week.

11 Sep 2020 16:56:54
congrats john!

11 Sep 2020 17:15:42
Aye John, I live in milngavie and saw him regularly in Tesco or Waitrose, his family were also not helping him as his father or in laws were regularly in the off sales so I don’t think he understood what his position meant or he had the intellect to change his natural way, no malice in the guy, just too big for him.

11 Sep 2020 18:18:27
To thumb. The lad was an alcoholic, needed help.

11 Sep 2020 18:49:45
Congrats John.

11 Sep 2020 19:57:52
Aye Eric because substance abuse isn’t rife in Glasgow 🙈.

So was I John, with a business to Run, I would set my alarm for 4 am so I could drink for hours before going to the office, I never for a minute until my wife and daughter were told one year and one month ago that I probably wouldn’t make it through the night, I left hospital 3 weeks later and haven’t drank since, cept gallons of non alcoholic beer,
I wasn’t playing for Rangers and staggering home, , I wasn’t talking about his challenge, I was talking about why he wasn’t right for my club.

11 Sep 2020 22:21:58
Good on you tom, took my uncle and almost my old man. My old man hasn't had a drop in over 10 year👍.

11 Sep 2020 23:59:14
Very good on you Tom. Keep it up mate.

12 Sep 2020 03:20:36
Good for your old man mate, it’s a different world without alcohol.

12 Sep 2020 07:49:36
