Clumsy suits us great dl, we have players who can exploit that, playing in a diamond shape in midfield with the forward man attacking Duffy and the others getting wide is a strong attack making him tackle and drawn out so space is left, they are there for the beating with tactical nouse and playing with a real forward thinking attack aand especially midfield.

lets be honest, Duffy ain't anything special. Yes he is a big physical old fashioned defender but he is a bombscare at a decent level. He was at blackburn for 3 seasons where my family are season ticket holders and they didn't rate him at all. Clumsy, prone to an own goal or 6 and always giving away fouls
He will suit Scottish football though and won't face the level of opponents in our league as he did in england so will be a decent signing but nothing tlike they are making out.

And if you knew about Rangers as much as your posts make you out to be, you would know that Goldson had heart surgery whilst at Brighton, so I wouldn’t expect him to play in front of Duffy. That would make my opinion of Duffy even less. ðŸ‘
Duffy is a poor mans McKenna and that’s as good a compliment as he’ll get from me. I don’t rate either .

Duffy is a good championship defender at best. He couldn't even get into a team that play 3 Centrebacks and concede goals left, right and centre. he's not even Irelands best Centre back anymore with lenihan and Egan in front of him.
