So good result and performance v St mirren.
Buzzing Alfie got a few.
We have scored 4 goals in the league and Alfie has been involved in all 4. Imagine if he was interested playing for us and wasn't a shte player 🙄.
Anyway my point here is, people dig up our players but they can't even do it for the right reasons. Tav v Bayern, people saying he should have stayed with the runner. the reason they scored is that he DID stay with the runner n kept him onside.
29 goals pre Xmas from Alfie is a great return but he's shte?
We all have our opinions but at least dig up our players for the correct reasons if at. all.

Never once claimed he's a bad player. But his form and attitude deserved the bench.

Alfie Alfie Alfie, like any rangers player from the start of time will be criticised if he is not doing it and even more so if he seems uninterested that criticism will be worse. If he performs consistently then great but let’s not forget better players than Alfie have been subject of criticism for less. But let me say no matter who pulls on the rangers shirt I will always support them and I was happy to see Alfie get his goals yesterday like any other fan!

Js your posts have pretty much said he's rubbish, without using they actual words. His attitude looked fine to me yesterday, he always like huffy when he isn't scoring or being subbed and i'd expect that. If he's go a smile in either situation i'd be worried. He wants a move. to a better league, that's never been a secret n nor is it a bad thing.
SG had a word with him after Thurs. about his attitude and decided to play him, a decision which was justified yet you still think he shouldn't have been anywhere near the team. It really shows. your have no clue what so ever.

I have never and will never say he is rubbing as that is plain wrong.
The managers decision was justified yes I did not and will not argue that fact.
Do I feel he should have been in the starting lineup yesterday? No I don't it's easy to look at things in hindsight.
What is more difficult is to speak honestly which I always do.
So on the fact I have never resorted to calling fellow poster clueless I would say I have more of s clue about how respect should be shown and opinions should be expressed without animosity.

To be honest the form Alfredo was in he was lucky the new striker only had 1 training session and Defoe injury as I think he’d have been rightly dropped for poor form. But hey he’s took his chance and done his job.

Bgate completely correct he got a last chance purely due to they exact circumstances.

In your post your slagging people off for getting g on Morelos back and pretty much saying it’s not justified, but in the same post you say Gerrard has had to pull him aside and have words with him?
Surely Gerrard wouldn’t need to have words with him when he’s being playing so great recently?
So what is it? He’s been playing fantastic and the Gerrard convo never took place?
Or has the criticism from folk on here been justified and Gerrard has also noticed it and did indeed have words with him?
Which by the way resulted in a much better better performance from him yesterday 🤔🤔.

Js you've stated that Gerrard was wrong to include him in the squad. I. think after discussions Gerrard is better placed than you. You seem to dislike Morelos. Has been perfect? No far from it. But he has done far more good than bad! Remember none of this team have won anything so how can you pin it all on Alfie!

Its not contradictory at all. With some peoples reactions its been way over the top. If u read properly you'll see i have stated Morelos has t been perfect. but we have played 2 games, scored 4 and Alfie has contributed to all 4 goals.
The same folk who slate Alfie for his mishaps don't acknowledge his good points.
Ryan jack was hopeless on Thurs night, yet not a peep from anyone, as was Steve Davis.
Last year v Porto jack Gave the ball away for Porto goal n not one negative. Again v Celtic his bad tackle allowed Celtic a. shot and goal. Again nothing
It seems certain folk on here pick certain. Players ( Tav Alfie and gold son) always get critisized.
Sometimes a player needs a wee word in their ear, doesn't mean they are rubbish as some folk have stated. Gerrard has also said he spoke to more than just Alfie btw .
