I see adireie Mebude turned down contract at rangers and going to Manchester City.
Que all those that will slaughter us for losing another boy, however if the don't want to sign what do you do.
At least our coaches must be doing something correct if they are losing players to likes of city and Chelsea.

Folks also remember we sign up young lads from elsewhere ie Graham, Weston, Lindsay et al.

Yes 3 highly regarded young players graham, weston and lindsay are John25.
Augurs well for the future and if we more than likely sell any of them on, we'll make a decent amount of money from their sale 👍.

Exactly John, it's swings and roundabouts. It's what happens in football now.

Exactly john 👍 just wonder how many of these young ones will regret chasing the cash, gilmour was special, but I really csnt see that kid doing anything at city if I'm honest.

I agree John, we give them a great football education and they piss off down south, We can’t make them sign contacts, I guess they see Billy Gilmour and think they can do the same, not saying this kid won’t make it down there but he’s now a big fish is a pool full of sharks.

Yes lads it is swings and roundabouts but it seems daft to me particularly in the case of Mebude that he's good enough for Man City to come get him but he's not been anywhere near our first team since making his debut against Kilmarnock at the end of the 18/ 19 season. Since making his debut he has been brilliant for youth teams/ reserves but still can't take a seat on our bench. It must be incredibly frustrating to be a youth coach at Rangers. They can't be happy that they are losing players like Mebude after investing so much time coaching and developing them. I understand that at Rangers its always a necessity to win every game which in turn makes it really difficult to give youngsters a chance but come on man. I've been really looking forward to seeing Mebude in the first team and I think he might have thought twice about moving had he been given more opportunities. Just my thoughts lads, just a bit frustrated.

Moc that's his older brother Dapo, still at the club. Dire Mebude is his younger brother, 16, who is leaving.
