I honestly wish some of our supporters would get real and think, before saying things. I read an article this morning regarding who some of our supporters are saying what striker we should sign. A supporter said huddersfield town striker karlan grant and a few agreed with him, that we should go all out and sign him. 🤔
What planet are these supporters on? The fee getting quoted for karlan grant is north of £15million! There's no danger we could/ would be able to pay that for a player.
Don't get me wrong big grant looks good and has many suitors, but common, he's well out our range. Some of our supporters need to get real here.
If we're contemplating not signing lyndon dykes because of the £2million transfer fee that Livingston are supposedly wanting, then there's absolutely no way in the thought even crossing our minds, that we can afford to sign karlan grant or even an ivan toney for that matter.
My message would be let's keep this real and sensible guys?

Mad how stuck you are on Dykes. Not suggesting we got get grant. But hudderfield will b strugglin for cash now so grant would not even cost half that. I don't think were even considering dykes cosgrove or kamberi. All 3 are squad players and will in no way improve the squad.

SGL, Rangers are not interested in Lyndon Dykes. I've mentioned this before, I'm friendly with the head grounds man at Ibrox. He has told me that he hasn't heard Lyndon Dykes name mentioned once.

True. I've commented before that the players we sign are never made public until the dotted line is signed. Had contact with jono, Calvin or the new bolungo guy been made public? No. Their names were never mentioned anywhere near the gers. Ross Wilson's deals seem to be great so far. Keep up the good work. Roofe, toney, Cosgrove, dykes etc won't be signed by us. Don't be surprised by any names that come through the door before the end of next week. Or maybe lack of.

What's that meant to mean? We all agree we need a different type of striker, one that's more powerful and a target man. there's no way you or anybody else for that matter, is going to tell me that lyndon dykes wouldn't improve our squad! I'm not saying a regular every week but he'd improve our squad as his style would win us certain games, when we would need to change it. there's no doubt about that in my eyes and for the relatively small transfer fee we would get him for.
Try and read and digest properly what i'm stating here especially before absolute clueless fellow supporters like KJA9 come on here saying you said this and you said that, without reading and understanding the post properly. Go back and read the post properly from yesterday KJA9, regarding what i said above dykes (not dukes)! I will state once again that i said there's no way i'd pay £2million for dykes and reckoned 750k i'd pay with possible add ons taking the deal to £1million! Go back to school pal because you're seeing things that ain't there! 😂I'm sure yately01 will back me up on this as he had quoted 650k just before my post!
