SG has said barker will terrorise defenders with his speed this season.
My question is at home when opposition has 10men behind the ball how will this work?
He will be an asset against teams that attack us but don’t think it will work for most home games.

I agree KJA. When teams play deep Barker (as well as Jones) are not the answer.
Against attacking teams (e. g - in Europe) then they can be great coming off bench.

Our biggest problem us conceding from a set play against these teams they go 1-0 up abd that's it they frustrate the players and the fans and that's how they manage the game when we score 1st they have to push for an equaliser and that opens the game up.

Grumpy I don’t think he will change ever from 433 unfortunately he may change it now and again to playing Kent and hagi wide instead of no10s tho that isn’t where hagi is most effective.

coldo?, I honestly do not rate Barker tbh, however the fourth goal well had 9 men in and around the box, and a couple of slick passes using barkers speed to get to the bye line caused mayhem and an own goal.
IF we could do that more often into a packed box even if it us at home, it wouldn't be too bad.

Wow, what talent we have on this forum, mind readers of SG, better understanding of the game as SG, more tactically aware than SG and his Qualified Coaches, what a waste of money, then I woke up, and hey SG is the main man, thank goodness that was scary. A bit of fun guys, don't take things so seriously, we are looking good thus far into our pre-season preparations, and, hopefully we will get the prizes this time, we are all behind the Team and Management Staff, I'm sure of that.

Its ok having a bit of fun irvger but on a serious not, Gerrard will have to change formation and tactics at certain times. If he doesn't then he will cost us the title and he'll be out a job. I hope he has learned. There was plenty times last season in games where most fans were more tactically astute than GerrardðŸ‘.
