Gutted for Big Niko Katic after his Cruciate injury.
Felt like it could’ve been a big year for him, has matured a lot over past 2 seasons and was a big presence for us.
For that reason - I think we should try replace with a short term experienced CB that can fill the void.
Names I’ve seen mentioned are - Wes Morgan, Phil Jagielka, Yoshida.
Less risk involved that taking a young CB on loan for the season imo, too much riding on this season.

we have 3 centre backs and another in bassey. we also could use mccrorie.
and multiple highly thought of from the youth team. personally think we'll be fine without signing one.

Ivlark mccrorie ain't no central defender and SG will never play him there.

seen durrant mention leon king stepping up. was a massive year for katic but he wasnt a world beater. Had some shockers last season fornall his good attributes he's probably out of the 4 CH the one with worst positional sense.

Yeah katic probably yworked too hard on bulking up his top half he was too heavy for his legs, should’ve did leg work first when your already a big dude in my opinion 🤔.
