Ok fellow bears, like i said in an earlier post of mine, IMHO we at the moment need 3 quality players that can go straight into our starting 11. My choices and positions i believe need strengthened would be. Strong defensive midfielder, either tapia or dorsch for me. Secondly a right winger and that would be skov olsen for me.
Thirdly another class striker and that would be hopefully ivan toney for me or possibly rhian brewster on loan. If morelos leaves i believe we'd need to sign 2 strikers ie. ivan toney to replace morelos and lyndon dykes as a different option striker to what we've got, as part of our squad, not morelos' replacement that some on here continually say i'm meaning.
I also think for depth we need to improve the quality of our bench and we've started that process already with the signings of calvin bassey and jon mclaughlin. Dykes would improve our depth from the bench and we now also need another centre half, due to the very unfortunate injury to nikola katic.
I think we need another right back as well as having nathan paterson, to push james tavernier. On the centre half situation, i think an experienced centre half would be the better option if possible, on a short term deal. I truly think if doable we should sign big scott dann, as he'll be a free agent from crystal palace. He would absolutely cruise it in the scottish premiership! Its a very interesting debate fellow bears and i look forward to all your opinions on my choices and with your participation on your own choices and areas you feel need strengthened? 🤔.

Yeah I like the look of Dorsch, Toney and Olson, woukd take all 3 in a heartbeat! I agree with yiur analysis we need them positions improved/ filled too, I’m not so sure about a centre back? Katic injury is already covered for me 🤔 I guess this is where we appreciate the ever presentness of Goldson and look forward to seeing more of Edmundson and hellander 😀 i'd like someone to replace tavernier never mind push him, but I appreciate that a right winger / roaming flank is more important, hopefully someone that complements tavernier like candelas did 🤔.

Sgl I’d take Olsen for right wing, Toney for right price, if Alfredo goes I’d sign another striker preferably a bigger powerhouse to offer different options. I don’t know if mccrorie could push tavernier for rb and maybe play cdm in some games? I’d sign a cb but wouldn’t necessarily be an older experienced player but I’d ty to get one who’s better than we have as I’m all for improving our starting team. We can’t keep buying squad fillers.

Or we sign guaranteed first 11 quality players, then the players replaced fill the squad. No more squad fillers all our budget has to go on quality.

SGL a very sensible and balanced post, watching last season I felt we were 4 players away from being a really good side.
It’s difficult to put names out there as I’ve no idea of the funds available. If AM goes it might not be a bad thing, we can use the money to bring in good quality and spread the goals. I’m not a fan of his attitude to be honest.

Those are the main player positions that need strengthened. However, you can speculate all you want but I don’t believe anyone has the slightest clue who Rangers will bring in unless you are part of the senior playing management team. I do hope that we start to integrate some of the promising youngsters into the team or at least give them a chance to see what they can do. Like Patterson and Mayo.

The players mentioned above are all good players that would be good additions to Rangers squad. Whoever, Rangers bring in will have my backing.
