Guys i was reading an article with big kyle lafferty there saying why he felt it didn't work out for him under gerrard, in his 2nd spell at rangers. Very interesting and very worth reading, as he holds our first team coach michael beale in very high esteem.
He says beale's coaching methods/ ideas are out of this world and says beale is the brains behind our management team! 👌He says in his opinion beale most definitely has the ability to follow on from gerrard, as the next rangers manager/ head coach. Of course that would depend that when gerrard eventually leaves, that beale didn't move with him.
Worth the read guys 👍.

Where did you read that SGL? I always liked big Kyle. Didn’t work out 2nd time but I fondly remember him scoring in the first few minutes at Rugby Park when we won the league down there on the last day. He was fortunate enough to play with Jelavic who was some player. An all round centre forward who could score, make some runs, hold the ball up and bring others into play.

The full interview is on open goal with Si Ferry on YouTube. Great viewing once again from Si 👌🏻.

Its from open goals with Si Ferry, now on you tube, couple of hours with big Laff. Interesting watch as usual.

Obviously big Lafferty didn’t have the correct mindset to play again for our club and this should have been picked up after all his problems off the pitch 🇬🇧.

This lafferty interview regarding how highly he rates our first team coach got me casting my mind back years ago to the graeme souness/
walter smith management partnership.
The scenario then as was said even back then, that souness was the big name and magnet for players and walter smith was the brains behind it and the better coach, who went on 2 become the better manager. This looks like it could be reminiscent of the gerrard/ beale management partnership. Gerrard the magnet with the big name, with beale the coaching brains behind it. I wonder if beale could go on to eventually become the better manager and maybe the future rangers manager/ head coach, when gerrard does eventually leave. You just never know guys, but a very interesting subject, brought to the fore by big kyle lafferty's interview on gerrard and beale! 🤔.

Coops, Don’t think I would place too much reliance on the opinion of Lafferty even if he does hold it which I’m not convinced he actually does. No comparison between Beale and Sir Walter.

Bankie, i remember when we brought gerrard in as manager and then when he in turn brought in michael beale as our first team coach, i remember reading from people in the footballing circles, how highly beale was rated as a coach and the places he went studying different coaching methods. Its also worth noting that beale has worked under and alongside some top manager's. I remember that brendan rodgers had worked under some great managers, before eventually becoming a very good manager himself. It does work you know mate!

Coops, hope your right. I was not impressed last season when Beale tried to explain our inconsistency, sounded far too much like unacceptable explanation provided by Tav and Kent.
