Well guys if going with different media headlines
It's definitely sounding like Morelos is going to be sold this summer
I hope we have a top striker or 2 to replace him and add to the striking options going forward if it's true
And I hope it's minimum £15m plus add ons if he's sold
As much as I have moaned about him he tops the charts with his goal scoring exploits just wish he lost the crazy attitude at times and stayed on park and was available for all games
But then again he might not be the same striker without the craziness
If he does go I wish him the best of luck and I hope he continues to score barrow loads of goals - hopefully not against us in Europe At any point 😉
If he stays I hope he continues to give his all for the club while his agent is looking for another club for him and helps us win the league this coming Season.
Personally I would like to see him stay and another top striker to join him up front would be fantastic
If he goes hope we sign 2 top strikers again to help us win that league that has eluded us for too long now

If he does go, which, according to the media, looks more and more likely, then I hope there is a bidding war. Only then will we get top dollar. Latest club to be allegedly interested is Everton.
Hope the monies he brings in is spent wisely and the best of luck to him.

I know defoe is 37 years old but a fit defoe will play a big part in our chances of winning the league. The wee man will score important goals for us, even if its mostly coming from him coming off the subs bench to do it! He's still a quality finisher and model professional, who's still as fit as a fiddle! 👌.

People go on about Morelos loosing his hot head but he was the same in Finland and never got the bookings he gets here. The guy was blatantly kicked, Barged and had a player change direction to run his studs down his calf.
He was singled out and the refs in Scotland let it happen. the boy won't get sent off or booked anywhere near as much if he goes to another league. If he goes we will miss him badly.

SGL - completely understand where you are coming from re Defoe, but unfortunately, he cannot be our main striker. At his age, no matter how fit he is, the games and the physicality will take it’s toll.
I think we need three strikers to be able to mount a serious challenge on celtic. If Morelos stays, then it’s Defoe and one other. If SG is only thinking about SPFL glory then it will Shankland, Dykes or Cosgrove.
However, if Europe is also on his mind then he has to look elsewhere and put 6 or 7 million in his wallet.
Still Lewis Ferguson is on his way.

99% of the time everyone hates the media but are happy to go along with it if it suits them.
