It would seem, according to the persistent rumours, that SG is definitely keen on two players, Roofe and Olsen (? ) .

IMHO Roofe is definitely a big gamble, but I think (hope) that RFC Scouts know best. The other lad seems a safer bet.

It would seem that we are not scared of a big punt - praying that it works out.

It would also seem that Rangers haven’t mentioned any of those players, so you would be as well picking 2 players from any league in the world, if you mean mentioned on here then you might as well have dykes down as the new striker because a certain party is in love with him and doesn’t get bored putting his name in 30 posts a day, so does that mean Gerard is interested,? I think not.

When, and I mean when, in the history of professional football has any, and I mean ANY, club ever mentioned a player they are going after?

and if memory serves, they are not allowed to - it is called tapping up.

and when Tommy, have you ever, and I mean EVER, heard of Rangers mention a player they are interested in.

Kemar Roofe could be incredible for Rangers. He spends a lot of time injured though. Don’t know much about Olsen to be honest!

In the history of football, thousands and I mean thousands, that’s why tapping up is an offence, if it had never happened in THE HISTORY OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL, there would never have been anyone done for it, correct?

True blue do you not remember ally’s term . we announced we were interested in loads of players and ended up with egg on our faces about half a size times . until it became highly embarrassing actually.

SPFL Rules

Rule D10 says: “No Club shall either directly or indirectly induce or attempt to induce any manager, coach, trainer or other person involved in the training or management of the team of another Club or a club in membership of the Scottish FA to breach a written contract of employment.

Names being branded about by the corrupt media. our club now does its transfer business professionally and only believe it when club announce it. still this is a rumour site, so we are being linked with everyone and anyone . heard from a taxi driver. nope it was the postman. nope it’s a bloke who knows somebody who stayed next door to a agent that we are signing Sergio Ramos. ignore the noise.

Sorry TB, you are making a very embarrassing post even worse kiddo, nobody mentioned about the rules, everyone knows it’s not allowed mate’ read your reply to my post again, this time ask yourself if you said it wasn’t allowed, OR IN THE HISTORY OF PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE WHO? It has and had never happened. I can tell you it happened quite often when I was growing up, and as a Rangers fan of 55 years, and having spent almost 20 years in the lower leagues and having the pleasure of being in the same Bankie squad as coop, the real one I can tell you a lot more went on as well, but you carry on telling people about THE HISTORY OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL, and behave kid.

And btw TB, it’s not tapping, the name comes from tapping someone on the shoulder I believe, and nobody could ever stop tapping up, because it’s impossible, and it’s illegal but very active in every big club, manager just asks a player to have a word with his pal when he’s on international duty’s or on the phone, what we are talking about is not strictly tapping because it’s about the club mentioning the player from another club, happening all over the world every day, that’s why managers are asked by reporters are they not? If it was illegal and unheard of in history do you think they would still ask
, behave son.

Have to admit Tommy99,it must have been a great pleasure for yourself, to have been in the same clydebank squad, as the late, great davie'super'cooper! 👌 Obviously with you having witnessed what you have,
you will know at first hand what went on and didn't for that matter! 👍.

Come on Tommy, give us some juicy stories!

Tapping up happens, at every level of football. Anybody who thinks it doesn't is very naive.
