Professional sport behind closed doors permitted in Scotland from 22nd June. Pity no one could've seen that happening, eh doncaster/ liewell.

Agree3 Disagree0

Scottish clubs still couldn't afford the testing.

18 Jun 2020 13:54:42
How much would the testing have cost? More or less than 10million? I don’t know the answer to that but it’s food for thought.

18 Jun 2020 14:47:28
So we can't start next season then green?
While I'm at it then, does that mean that the richest club in Scotland were awarded the title because of money green? We can use the money saved by not having to pay back the TV companies and test the players, no?

18 Jun 2020 15:39:25
Thought the Anderson money is to test players.

18 Jun 2020 15:56:43
@jyf, hopefully when the season starts it will be the SFA who pay for the testing.

18 Jun 2020 18:29:47
Coully think I read £7000 a week for testing first team, coaches, staff etc twice a week.

18 Jun 2020 18:49:25
Yea and Doncaster now appointed to a uefa committees where Lawwell is on two separate committees .
Funny the talk is if hearts and Partick are successful with there cases, there will be no promotion or champions. apart from Yes you’ve guessed it .
Stinks beyond belief.

18 Jun 2020 18:51:32
Why would it be the SFA?

18 Jun 2020 21:02:57
Because the SFA have the ultimate responsibility for control of Scottish football.

19 Jun 2020 19:05:48
The SFA are the Governing Body with a responsibility for 3 things.

1. National Teams
2. The Scottish Cup
3. Development, coach and officials education

The SPFL is wholly responsible for the professional leagues. SFA only manage compliance. SPFL manage all the contractual and commercial elements. They would be responsible for meeting the costs.
