Glad some folk agree with me on the fact right now we have nothing to be happy about

More serious money can be spent by Gerrard and if he delivers nothing he can walk away!
I would like to know why a lot of folk on here think it's going to be different this year?
Celtic can spend a few million on a few players and can improve there team again
How much do we need to spend? How many players do we really need to make a proper challenge and by winning games from start to finish of a season to have any proper chance?
So we're going to possibly still have tav as captain? Pretty much the same defence that was letting silly goals in 2nd half of season until lockdown
And pretty much the same midfield and forwards?
He can't change a whole team but the majority of that team have proven two season in a row now there good enough and don't have the fight for a full on challenge
So why is this season going to be different
Guys I don't have answers. It majority on here have a lot of faith in players who have not shown faith in themselves or the club
So why do you all have faith in this current crop of croppers?
IS there a problem with scouts at the club

Anyone can anyone tell me is there a problem with scouting at the club?
Someone already mention shankland was scouted over 10 times and we thought better of it but now some think he's worth spending a couple million on 🤔🤔.

You keep going on about scouting. Have there been mistakes in signing players? Yes but that happens at pretty much every club.
Shankland. Just because some folk on here think we should sign him, doesn't mean we will.
Why do a lot of people on here have faith in the team and SG?

Good God, after reading that post I am wanting my Season Ticket money back and getting my tattoo scrubbed over! Don’t you get where our club has been over the last 10 years. I am so grateful the position the club is in at the moment and I will always follow the Rangers!

Stigno I don’t know if a problem with scouts u may note I asked that at the weekend, if we watch shankland mNy times and don’t sign on free either he is not rated by our scouts or don’t know their job.
Also did a scout recommend Barker or was that a mark Allen production
Until scouts find a few gems, make lots of money or win leagues they won’t get credit.

I wouldn't say that we don't have anything to be happy about stig, but I do agree that domestically we have under achieved due to gerrard being unwilling/ stubborn to change formation and tactics. When he makes a sub its usually too late or its like for like. He is far too reluctant to change it or drop his favourites. However there has been many positives, europe and playing celtic off the park. We need three or four more leaders in the team. I think tav should not be captain, he just doesn't have it. This a big year for Gerrard. let's hope he has learned because he won't get a fourth year. ðŸ‘.

Brandon barker was undoubtedly a mark allen signing. Do you guys not think its possible that we've continued scouting/ watching shankland regarding how he does going up levels before possibly making a move for him?

The comments made by our DoF today clearly suggests that he is unhappy with the previous level of scouting in the Club and I am encouraged to see that he is in the process of appointing full time scouts across Europe. We are forgetting that we have had to build a new team and I am sure that Gerard knows that we are not there yet. The total lack of a Youth Team System and the pathetic signings made in the days of McCoist has undoubtedly left us with a need to play catch up and I was certainly encouraged with what I saw from the team before Christmas although I would be the first to admit that we still don't have an effective squad. I believe that we will see more signings this close season and I am hopeful that we will see winners and leaders which is something that I believe we need.

SGL I get your post re scouting shankland however we r not cash rich. Say he goes to Aberdeen and scores 25 becomes worth 5 million we should not buy.

I do totally agree with you there John25, regarding lyndon dykes being the better option. I've constantly said dykes within scottish football would be the first choice striker i'd want us to sign pal! 👌ðŸ‘.

Listen I will always follow them too But I’m a moaning face fit and l would like to see a winning side some silverware and at very least run that mob to the very last game

Tav is not remotely mentally strong enough to be leading us in one of the most important seasons ever at Ibrox. If we start the season with him wearing the armband I'll be joining the pessimistic brigade.

Yately and Coldo, spot on guys, we have done well to be back performing at the current level, however, I also agree SG has to prove he can change the system for certain games, or, indeed, during a game. I'm hopeful for this season, but then I'm a glass half full guy.

Mate for once try and look at the positives you’re like a happiness Hoover at times! If we signed messi you’d find a way to put a downer on it.
