We've got 2 very talented attacking young footballers at rangers in ryan kent and ianis hagi i'm sure most will agree. Imo kent has to now play in his natural left wing position, the position he played in while on loan with us and for which he won the scottish young player of the year. Hagi has to play central in the no.10 role where he can damage the opposition teams. My question fellow bears is who is the most talented kent or hagi? 🤔.

Agree6 Disagree0

Coops, don't normally raise a eyebrow with most of your posts, not to say i'm perfect BTY but the question is going to get some Odd answers. If ambiguity had not been invented you should have the naming rights on the back of this question. Its a Lamborghini V Ferrari question just opinions for the likes of us nothing more.

Both have good talent but have yet to prove they are at the top level. Like Baz 6 post above says the key issue is a winning mentality to make the difference when it matters consistently. I am not convinced Kent has it over a season but am more hopeful for Hagi. Big pressure on Kent this coming season.

I think Hagi is and will prove to be the better player.

2 things jump out at me guys, do you think we are too demanding at times, without taking into account where we've had to come back from, and our's and other big Clubs financial vulnerability at this time. I feel that a problem we have is that we build up visits to Pittodrie, Easter Road, Tynecastle and possibly Killie as potential banana skins, whereas the other mob just treat it as a game they will probably win 9 times out of 10, confidence and belief, that's the key to brining back success at Rangers.

SGL - After reading your post, my question is why does Gerrard play some of his players out of position and not achieving their maximum potential for the team?

IMO Hagi has the most potential, being capable with both feet equally well. I think he will be allowed to roam and hopefully cause havoc. the final killer pass is what we have been missing and I believe Hagi has that.

I think you are spot on but the only way to bring that level of confidence is to win trophies and more importantly the league. We just have to keep the faith and help the club recover until we get there no matter how long it takes.

IMHO both are pretty substandard - ability has nothing to do with being a good footballer!

Ryan Kent has lots of ability but is very limited in terms of footballing intelligence and got showed when he played central. His ball retention is nothing short of pathetic and his crossing is worse. I would have to have a real hard think to come up with a player that gets dispossessed as much as Kent and has as little attacking contribution from a forward.

As for Hagi, I think he needs more time to settle. He has amazing technique but needs to work in his work rate and physicality. Hopefully he can go and become a great, time will tell.

SGL, bit, of unfair question, Hagi totally tried/ untested Kent to reach heights of last season. We live in hope.

SGL did you notice this

"We are three-quarters of the way there and there is no reason why we cannot finish the job, " he added. Rodgers quote re english league

what do you think? has he said Scotland didn't finish?
