think it's as simple as the rangers connection of his dad and uncle playing for us and imo Ferguson is more the type of player wee need than Docherty is . although docherty has potential for me Ferguson has fulfilled is potential much more and would bring bite to our midfeild that i think has been lacking.

Aberdeen is his level, rangers need better than ferguson, we need players who are going hit the ground running and make a difference from the start. He won't improve us.

To be fair to greg docherty Sirwalter54,he hasn't had the chance at rangers to fulfill his potential.
I'll point you to docherty's performances at both shrewsbury and hibs on his loan deals at both clubs mate. He was the shrewsbury town player of the year, scoring a good few goals into the bargain and he's also been playing well for hibs. The hibs fans want to sign docherty permanently and have raved about him since he signed for them on loan! I rate docherty better than lewis ferguson mate simple as that and its all about opinions! ðŸ‘.

Forget Ferguson, there was only one for Rangers, i. e. Barry (OK and Ian too) . Docherty is still our player. Get him back and give the lad a chance instead of wasting money on another bang average player.
