The only thing I read into today’s result, is that a lot of clubs (especially in championship) were offered “incentives†to vote for the resolution. They knew that an independent investigation would uncover those offers and make them guilty for accepting them! It would have been equivalent of turkeys voting for Christmas.

For me, what this highlights is how widespread the corruption truly is.
Not sure how/ if things will proceed but one thing for sure is, without an independent investigation- the SPFL directors can’t clear their names and will forever be seen as corrupt and untrustworthy. Their positions may already be untenable and Scottish football will struggle for years to come to rebuild any form of trust.

Do you guys never get weary of the nonsense your club feeds you? It just so happens it's season ticket selling time, they need to get your blood boiling to make the sales they so desperately need just to keep the door of the rented stadium open.

You may view it as a success because 2/ 3 of the stakeholders voted against an investigation. I view it as 1/ 3 of the stakeholders don't trust their leadership. Any organisation with that amount of distrust is destined to fail.

No I don't trust what the SPFL have been saying, neither do a good few clubs in the SPFL. Christ even the sheep thought the SPFL should be investigated!
