in my opinion Docherty barker jones ojo just cannot handle playing for a big club like rangers they been giving a chance but they are just not up to it, the same happened with Duncan ferguson in the early 90,s couldn't handle the pressure playing for rangers and went on to become a everton legend.

Docherty was never given a chance so how can you say he’s not good enough. The last time he had a run of games was before Gerrard was even here.

I'd disagree about Docherty as he's not been given a chance with the first team. Superb season at Shrewsbury, man of the match for Hibs last week, scored today. Hibs support wanting him to sign permanently. Hibs manager and staff raving about him but yet can't get a game for Rangers.

I'd agree about Ojo and Barker but think your a tad harsh on Docherty and JJ. Docherty has never been given a chance by Gerard (and probably never will) and JJ was playing well before his injury especially in the Europa qualifiers.

So if players can't hack it at Rangers go to a huge english premier club and be a great success .

Of course they are, he is a rangers player out on loan. Why would they not be monitoring his progress?
I like Docherty and feel he’s been a wee bit hard done by, however, his last loan move was a big success for him albeit at a much lower standard. He chose to stay and try and break into the team first half of this year, that was almost impossible with the form of Davis, Jack and Kamara. Let’s hope he continues to excel at Hibs, he certainly has initially. My only concern is when playing for Hibs opponents have a go and he has the spaces to drive forward into, at Rangers it’s a diff game all together. Regardless here’s hoping it’s a win win for lad.

ian1964, Only Ojo has been given chance after chance. At best the others have had minutes, no more, and some have big skelfs on their arses waiting for their chance. A few minutes here and there totally RUINS a players confidence because he starts to think I'm no good and the manager doesn't rate me.
