I think today's result at Pittodrie just sums up Scottish football at this time. Aberdeen now in 3rd place yet 32 points adrift of Celtic, so there is no real challenge in the league now apart from us and Celtic. For that reason, much as I hate to say this, but their upcoming 9 in a row in real terms, whilst it IS an achievement, is not anything like theirs and ours 9 in a row previously. Back then we had serious challengers like Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, Hearts, Hibs, Kilmarnock etc, but nowadays no other team seem capable of taking points off Celtic, which is sad because they are not invincible. This time probably 6 out of their 9 in a row were totally unchallenged and therefore nothing like the achievement it's made out to be. The same goes for them winning all those cups, no challengers anywhere to be seen.
The other clubs in our league need to improve greatly or our league will hit the depths probably never to recover.

Ritchie, spot on my friend, it's down 100% to a winning mentality which sadly we don't appear to have. I will say, I thought young Dallas let the game flow, and allowed for the conditions. In conclusion, Alfie, please stay on your feet today, and play the game.

Richie, the main point you missed out was, when we done our 9 celtic played in the same division as us, for the full 9 year, we have only been in current div 4 years, so they got five of a start, but if somebody, higher than the sfa don't step in it will be fifty in a row, i think most officials in our country must have lumped thousands of pounds on celtic getting ten. seriously.
