Lots of posts moaning about people being a bit negative, well I'm a supporter that has a great passion for the club and get frustrated when the club goes through a bad period. I don't advocate getting rid of SG but he has made mistakes and is human like the rest of us. I view the negativity as people as passionate as me that want the best for the club but maybe shoot from the hip in frustration. Like many have stated on here it's an opinion site that shows a lot of points of view and for me makes it a great site to be on. Thanks Ed.

It is passion but sometimes its a bit over the top. criticism is fine but when it gets to when people are wanting gerrard out and things like that is when i see it as a bit mad. said it before. a dip in form doesn't mean its over. in my work if i make a mistake or dint meat a deadline i get moaned at from my manager. doesn't mean they should get the sack. should be the exact same in football. players who we know can perform have a bad couple games. let stevie moan at them. don't call for his head.

If you kept making the same mistakes what would happen?
I've criticised SG over the last couple of days big time. Was it deserved? Maybe not but the guy doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. See if someone is letting you down in a team. Make a change. See if a style of play isint working. Make a change. It's no rocket science. Tactics I feel are his weakness. The 4-3-3 team we play has to be changed from time time. Teams know if they sit in we struggle to break them down. See if we don't change personel tonight we are going to struggle big time. Get some fresh faces in with a bit of hunger. If we need a goal and Ojo comes on or starts then god help us.

As1974, I like your reply to Iggle, I have also ctiticised the players and Stevie on these pages and got some flack from the experts (well them that think they are) .
However no one is above criticism if they perform or act poorly including Stevie and his backroom staff.
I never have and never will call for anyone to be axed because of a couple of poor performances .
The ONLY exeption to this for me will be if Stevie has not brought us silverware after his 4 year stint . I'm confident I will be far from alone on this.
Apart from one player we have not been able to spend big money on top players for many seasons so considering this we are doing pretty well under the circumstances just now.
Onwards and upwards .

Cant argue Thewagman. 2 year without silverware at our club is unacceptable despite who SG is. I really hope he does but and proves us wrong.

Swagman I don't know if I'm right in thinking he still has two years on his contract or was it extended.
Will it no cost a bomb to get rid before Stevie's contract is up unless he does the decent thing an quits if it comes to us eventually wanting rid.

His contract was extended to 2024 just recently.
