If we lose tonight he should be punted. Losing to Ross County at home on the back of 3 poor performances should have any Rangers manager on the ropes. Said it all along, I like Stevie G but too many folk are blinded by the love of having a celebrity name in charge. If we had hired someone like Michael O’Neill or Tommy Wright they would have got far more stick for some of the mistakes than Gerrard has.

I’ve read it all now. One game and folk are losing the plot. It’s embarrassing. Leave that kind of panic to our friends across the city. Their will be lots of twists and turns still to come. It’s only January.

It’s not one game. It’s 3 poor performances in a row. It’s an exact replaying of last season when we fell to bits after the break. It’s the wasting of money on Jones, Barker, Grezda, King etc. It’s the lack of ability to change tactics to suit the personnel or opposition. It’s trying to play the exact same style that we do with Morelos and Tav in the team when clearly neither Defoe or Flanagan are capable. It’s the blind spots for his favourite players guaranteeing their places regardless of their performance and refusal to give others a chance. It’s his constant chucking of the players under the bus after bad games rather than say “I got my tactics wrong. †It’s being adamant we don’t need to strengthen this window when the evidence is to the contrary.
Read all of the above and ask yourself - if his name was Warburton/ Caixinha/ Murty instead of Gerrard how would you be feeling?

I'll tell you this, if we do turn on our Manager forgetting how far he's taken us in 18 months, we'll go down faster than a torpedo'd ship. Who in their right mind would touch us if that happened. Blue 89 is correct, there's a few twists and turns to come yet.

We have the measure of Celtic? We've won 1 of 3 games against them this season and are 5 points behind them in the league.

DOIGER - the others didn't have anything like his resources. Didn't see them getting £7m to spend on a winger who has 1 good game in 5 or £3.5m on a centre half who is slow as a week in the jail.
