This won’t be a popular opinion, but in all the “we need another striker” furore - there’s nobody who knows what it takes to play for this club and win titles like Naismith. He was the best player on the park yesterday and led from the front. He’s expressed his regret many times at the way he left the club, if we went and took him off Hearts now you can’t tell me he wouldn’t burst a gut to win us the title. Clever player, makes those around him better, gives 100% every game and leads by example. Would take him in a heartbeat and is a far better option to lead the line when Morelos is injured than Defoe. He would also be able to play on the right of our front 3 and I’m sure he would chip in with goals and set plenty up for Alfie.

F**k that wee rat steven naismith!
Don't want him anywhere near our club, ever again. Just because he scored against us, behave yourself mate. That little weasel made his bed and he sure as hell can lie in it!

27 Jan 2020 15:27:07
yeah go begging to that rat.

27 Jan 2020 15:39:21
No the swagman. Taking away all the 'baggage' he's very injury prone. Can we improve the squad, of course. Naismith is not the answer.

27 Jan 2020 15:41:03
I remember when you posted you were a better player than Tav because you’d played at Amateur level. I thought that was your worst ever post until the above! 😳.

People need to get a grip with cutting off your nose to spite your face. Would he do a job ON THE PITCH? Seem to remember similar rage from the fans when we signed Kenny Miller back or Mo Johnston.

27 Jan 2020 16:02:19
Pacman, good combination of paraphrasing and downright lies there mate, well done 👍.

27 Jan 2020 16:20:53
People need to get a grip with cutting your nose to spite your face regarding over-reacting to a poor game/ defeat theswagman? 🤔
Naismith? Behave.

27 Jan 2020 16:53:51
Again, would he do a job ON THE PITCH? Yes he would. Score a couple a the piggery and I’m sure all would be forgiven, only took Boyd making a couple of sly digs on the telly for us to forgive him his sins.

SGL can I ask why such an angry response when McGregor, Davis and Lafferty all walked out and came back?

27 Jan 2020 17:18:24
g4rry because he said a few mean word that hurt poor SGLs feelings 😢.

27 Jan 2020 17:27:42
Different scenarios g4rry. If you read any of my posts i also stated we shouldn't have went back near that also big waster lafferty. Him and naismith said far too much regarding what they were doing and thought of rangers, when they couldn't wait to leave in our admin years. Davo and mcgregor Never said a bad thing about our club, or anything about doing any wrongdoing to hurt us. Wee davo got us 800k into the bargain. There's your answer my friend, some have short memories on both of these waste of space, so call love the club ex players.

27 Jan 2020 18:16:08
Drop the bile about these ex players - if SG thinks Naisy is what we need, all supporters should back him.

End of!

27 Jan 2020 18:37:29
SGL - I'd like to add to that - twice he received career threatening injuries and twice Rangers nursed him back to full fitness, then he does 1. It's a big Naie from me!

27 Jan 2020 18:35:23
Well said Coops. Damn straight. I loved wee Naismith when he was here but the wee rat can go do one. Never want to see him at Ibrox ever again unless its on losing sides.

27 Jan 2020 19:03:05
As far as I'm concerned seeker, if you hurt the club some of us all love, you hurt the supporters also mate. Some need to think long and hard to what i'm talking about here.
Again f**k steven naismith and don't want him near or associated with glasgow rangers and me as a supporter who follows the club everywhere ever again, simple as that!

27 Jan 2020 19:07:38
Coop, You are right he’s a RAT and have always said so!
Wagman, go back and look at his press conference and that’s totally unforgivable 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

27 Jan 2020 19:49:12
Angry a the wrong folk here lads. He was a daft wee boy in his early 20s who said something stupid at a time where nobody knew what was going on because the club was overrun with actual rats, crooks who genuinely didn’t care and would destroy our club to make a fast buck. All of you who never said anything regrettable when you were Young well done, enjoy chucking stones. But if you have like the rest of us made a mistake, remember you did that without cameras pointed in your face every day, journalists telling lies at every turn and a bunch of conmen threatening to wreck your career. I would rather be the bigger man and act in a manner befitting our great organisation rather than be that petty. If Naismith signed I would judge him on the man and player he is now, not who he was 10 years ago. I’m sure all of you would like people to treat you the same rather than cast up your past mistakes. 💙.

27 Jan 2020 21:30:04
Naismith was excellent yesterday and his performance represented everything we lacked in the game.

27 Jan 2020 22:03:56
Correct Bankie. Once again ON THE PITCH is what matters.
