What's the opinion on Lawrence Shankland now? I've read mixed reports before. I personally would have bought him from Ayr United but unfortunately his value has increased now. What's your views lads?

I would honestly sign lawrence shankland as he could well end up being another rangers legendary goalscorer. The thing is its a low risk signing and he just could be the next big goalscorer within scottish football. I think we should most definitely take a chance and sign him, because yes he could end up like nicky clark but he also could end up being the next kris boyd, ally mccoist etc! Young shankland could take his game to the next level by working beside and learning of the ultimate goalscoring professional, jermain defoe.

I'd sign him. Think he's far better than Nicky Clark and as said above could well be the next Boyd, McCoist. I've also read that Celtic have sent scouts to watch him a few times recently.

Hes the most natural finisher I've saw in scotland since kris boyd. Scores almost every chance.

Sure I read that we are also looking at Kevin Nesbit of Dunfermline, never seen him play though.

No chance. He just doesn't have the capability. He's 24, and is nearer to Nicky Clark on the spectrum than to Kris Boyd. As for McCoist, the boy is light years away from that. We really have to raise our ambitions higher for the future.

He’s been out scored the previous years by Dobbie at QoS, who’s also a bluenose. Should we have signed him as a stop gap 3rd striker then?
