Looking for your thoughts guys. With alfie being out for our next 3 n half games.
Should we go for Defoe against Stranraer. I think we should start with G Stewart up front for this game as we need defoe fully fit for the league games.

Agree1 Disagree0

3 and a half games?

3 games?

He didn’t get sent off for violent conduct. It was 2 bookings so shouldn’t it only be 1 match?!

An extra one for 2nd red of season. 2 games.

Is Alf not available for Stranraer game due to it being a cup game.

31 Dec 2019 11:21:03
Tjbb Alf suspended Stranraer game due to carry over from last years cup.
His sending off on Sunday carries two game ban, st mirren, hearts away.

Why Stewarty? What's happened? Isn't it just a one match ban?

31 Dec 2019 11:54:15
Stewartyblue how is he going to miss three and a half games? I'd play Stewart with Nathan Young Coombes on the bench. Show the kids there's a road to the top at Ibrox. I would also consider Paterson and Maxwell for the 18.

31 Dec 2019 11:58:42
Full team every game. who cares of the opposition. whether it be stranraer or anyone else. show everyone we are here to win.

31 Dec 2019 12:07:35
Does he not just miss the next match Stewarty? Or have I missed something?

31 Dec 2019 12:04:46
The reason I said 3 n half games surely you know SG by now. Alfie will be out for close to a month, due to his 2 game league ban and yellow cards in last season's scottish cup, meaning he is out of the cup game with Stranraer. Once he has served his suspensions. SG will not start him cold he will be a sub, hence the half game.
