Just confirmed by ssn the mikel arteta has been confirmed as the new arsenal head coach, on a 3 and a half year deal! He's a former rangers midfielder who was superb for us and still talks very highly of glasgow rangers. I wish him all the best of luck in his new job at the arsenal! ðŸ‘.

Not sure he was superb, played 50 games. Spent months agitating for a move back to Spain as it was to cold here.
Year later moved from Spain to England
No where near a great or superb for gers.

Disagree mate because IMO he was really good for us. I watched him many a time playing for us within his 2 years at ibrox and for most was a really good midfielder. Very clever and technical, with 2 quick feet.

Agree with SGL on this one. Only down side was he never settled and was always angling to get a move hence we never made big money on him. Thought he always played brilliant for us though.

Although he became an amazing player he didn't set the heather on fire at Rangers. I did have a massive Arteta flag that was about 20ft by 20ft. Ended up giving it to my mate after months of being pestered lol. Sorry but I agree with John on this one. His potential was there for all to see but rarely did he show it.

SGL about opinions, I saw every single minute of him in a blue jersey 50 games, 12 goals could not get away quick enough.
Yes he was a player, not interested in us.

He couldn’t get away from Ibrox quick enough. He was a very good player but was bang average for us compared to others he played with for us at that time. Def not in the superb bracket whilst at Gers. couldn’t care less how he does.

I also saw every single minute of arteta in a rangers jersey. It is all about opinions John25. I thought for most of his time with us he played well and you could see how talented he was. He always says to this day, that rangers made him the player he became.
