the one problem last night was obvious. Flanagan should be no-where near this team---even halliday would have been better and if barisic isn't fit that's who should play left back--the whole balance was off due to one position --and was before barisisc came on to a game---right footer does not a left back make.

To be fair to Flanagan he had played well in the LB role on a number of occasions prior to his injury. This was his first match back so ypu would expect a few nerves and ring rustiness.

There were a couple of times last night that our play was crying out for a "left winger" i. e. Barisic overlapping that Flanagan could not fulfill.

yes and he was rank-halliday is a better option--once again right footers don't make good left backs.

Please tell me that there are Rangers supporters out there that can see we are being outpaced in central defence? Edmundson and katic are both fast and should be given a chance to play together. We need to prevent fast counter attacking play and I have no faith in our current defensive set up if this is to be achieved. I get the squad scenario and why it is important in order to sustain a season but come on folks, we are crying out for pace at the back. Also, a right footed player at left back? i'm not having that at all.

Apologies orangetinted but i'm just venting a wee bit. However, if we are ALL saying similar things why can't the coaching staff see this? i'm so proud of what we are trying to achieve but its so frustrating to be so close, only to make the same mistakes as we did last season. Onwards folks🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.
