Now i don't have anything against the guy he comes across as a decent bloke but think marco negri continously making money off the back of his short spell at the club. a bit mad considering a lot of people hold him accountable for us not getting 10iar.

Sort of agree. Don’t think he’s really making money, but he’s using the club to stay relevant. He couldn’t care less about us when he was here, but in the intervening years can’t stop talking about us and as such, becomes a legend. Not for me.
Don’t blame him at all for us not getting 10, just don’t really buy into this love of the club stuff he spouts.

Yeah I have agree about Negri! He was never ever happy at our club from day one and couldn’t wait to get away with his face continuing ti be like fizz. Now years later he thinks he’s a Gers legend!

Sure his book made him a few bob and all the small appearances he does like last night in dundee. Not that he makes money of charity games but seems to pop up at every single legends charity game haha.

Think he had a lot of personal and health issues when he was playing with us. He seems to be a different person these days but don’t mind him tbh but I only use the word legend to a select few!

he could easily have been a legend, imo Smith is the one who lost us 10iar as he advised his intent to move on at christmas. ok the guys still had to do it on the park but they definately looked like they had gave up the ghost after that. if my memory serves me right we were the stronger team up to New Year and threw it away thereafter.
