I can't believe people are getting stick for wanting Rangers to sign the best up and coming talent. Surely getting called into the Scotland squad whilst playing in the championship is at least unusual and indicative of people believing you have talent above the league we are playing in. We signed Hardie and Docherty who are not in Gerrards plans at the moment but at least they are not playing against us. They came up against the same prejudices with mcginn, he's not good enought for us etc. and right now i'm glad he's playing down south.

If he was the best up and coming talent I'd agree with you but the simple truth is he's not. A call up by Alky Clarke is no recommendation, and since our scouting team and management team haven't even mentioned him, I'll pass.

Shankland has 15 goals in his last 12 games what more do you want and I think you will find john25, that we Are keeping tabs on him. We will do it the Rangers way, why take him for nothing when we can pay 2mil. Daisey, our scouting team are watching him so do you still pass?

Why sign players who aren't good enough to get in our side. We have depth now all we should be trying to sign is strength / players who will improve our starting 11.
