Said the other day we should sign up Hickey before someone else does, to be told, he's not good enough (wonder who that was? ) . In the papers today Man City are now sniffing. Why are we constantly letting this standard of youngsters pass us by?

You do know he isn't an attacker don't you? Man City have players that are 10 times anything we have in that position, so why would they consider Hickey?

Because he is a promising 16 year old and clubs like city, Barcelona etc will have tabs or 'show interest' in literally hundreds of players in that age bracket throughout Europe. As daisy said how do you know there hasn't been interest from us either? Please try and answer genuinely without just adding a sarcy comment.

First off he is 17 and I don't know for sure but if there were a genuine interest from us, I think it would be out there. Not a single rumble about it suggests we are not. To many people jumping in without even knowing anything about the lad. Over the course of a few hours he's been 16 and an attacker. Just waiting on someone else to pipe up with "Hibs will never sell to us".

I am telling you he has NEVER played as an attacking midfielder. He has played 3 positions for Hearts, LB, RB and WB.
