Lads I know we need to clean our act up as to some of the songs but do we make up songs about throwing lily heads at each other get a grip. Btw I'm from NI and could take offence at some comments on here but I don't. If people want to eat popcorn they should probably go to the cinema.

Chunky am confused. We know the songs that are offensive we all do. So its simple, don't sing them. We have so many songs to sing that arent, ibrox would still be jumping without the offensive songs.
Also you say your from NI tell me what Rangers have to do in this age with the battle of the boyne?
Example, we sing penny arcade, now some celtic fans and others believe its a song about a gunman that killed a catholic. Is it? I don't know, I do like the song, however do we sing it because its a catchy tune or do we sing it because its sang at UDA rallies?
Now if its sang because of a connection to UDA then it has to stop, no arguments. Am sure loads of fans don't know the connections of these songs. I never knew for a while until a friend told me about it. So I stopped singing it as its offensive, that's not calling someone a snowflake to say its offensive. I sing simple the best but again idiots sing another version of it, which is totally offensive. UVF, UDA, IRA, what do these have to do with 2 football teams?

If you fall for people telling you penny arcade is a song about a gunman then more fool you.

The song isn't, but the reason its sung at ibrox is.

Look we're not perfect not by a long way but there has to be some give penny arcade come on. I was working with a fella who is into rugby listening to a well known boxer who walked out to ra Ra up the Ra. This guy's defence was if they can sing sweet Caroline at Windsor what's the problem, my rugby friend said to me " I didn't know Neil Diamond was in the U*A" I nearly stopped breathing. The point is education on all sides. I am not condoning the sectarian singing but educate people. this stuff has went on for generations wether it is right or wrong. The players now that play for NI get a far better reception. But some Eurocrat imposing sanctions is like telling a child not to eat sweets of course they will rebel. the thoughts will still be there because it's tribal rivalry. Ok maybe respect each other more but if there is no rivalry there is not atmosphere. This is my opinion only. Are we the only club in Europe . Sticks and stones. All the big clubs have these issues.

I HATE PENNY ARCADE!
Blue turns to Green! HTF did that ever become a RFC song?

That song from a few years ago
" I'm Blue if I was Green I would die" is a better option.

This site is now more political than football and it’s really off putting! Guys on last night and today think they can fix everything? Let this brilliant forum be about football and Glasgow Rangers! 🇬🇧.

I also personally can't stand listening to Penny Arcade and Tina Turner before games either.

Just to get my tuppence worth in. It's about time the club modernised big time and that includes the full match day experience. There's clubs up and down the UK blasting tunes to actually get the crowd going and we're still being fed the same rubbish through the Tonnoys since the 80s.

Does anyone else agree wi me here?
