If u had a choice of a 3rd striker or a left back who would u choose. Personally I'd prefer another striker. Thoughts.

Probably a striker even though we only have one “true†lb in Barisic I think Flanagan hasn’t put a foot wrong when asked to play there. Halliday also done well last season in big games. I just worry of Defoe or Morelos get injured we will be struggling. But at the same time I can’t see a good striker coming in knowing that he might be third choice.

I would also say a striker is an even bigger priority, than a left back at this moment in time.

Wouldn't want a striker that thought he might be 3rd choice anyway mate. I would only want a striker that was confident he could come in and be in with a chance of being number 1.

In my opinion its another right back we need. Tav is under no pressure and is assured of his spot whether he is in good or bad form. Another striker would be good but personally I'd have like to see Hutton back to give Tav a challenge. RB is the only position in the team that has no real competition.

Left back. We have Morelos Defoe and Stewart and we play 1 up top. Last season how often did we need to turn to 3rd striker?

I know Flanagan is a right back but he’s played left back more than he’s played right back and he’s done well. And sorry MikeGer but Flanagan wasn’t at fault for the goal against Hibs. Roberto Carlos wouldn’t have stopped that through ball and run.
