Been saying for weeks that our build up play is too slow. Aribo and ojo are hold onto the ball far too long and morelos movement is so poor. ðŸ‘.

Aribo is going to be class for us this season. Starter for me along with jack and arfield . If fit gerrard will pick them.

I can see where your coming from coldo. As you and everyone else on here knows i rate kent to the hilt and he most definitely gives you that directness and urgency. However we don't have kent so i would play jordan jones on the left, as imo he's the current winger within our squad,
who can give us the most directness and width, on the outside of the opposing full back. Jones can also go inside and has quick feet as well as being rapid.

Did anybody else notice that the pitch had been made smaller than usual i. e ech side was narrowed by about 3-4 yards and the length by about 2 yards each end? Souness did it for a european game. Could be a reason we seemed to have no width.
