I've never been a fan of Barisic, and to be fair neither has Gerrard. that's why halliday was deemed a better option last season. Already he looks like he offers very little in terms of delivery and attacking option. It's not a vendetta, just a realistic opinion. Halliday came on during the week against progres and made a difference straight away. With Flanagan injured it would seem barisic is our only natural option.
