Folks, I pride myself in being a level headed and reasonably intelligent 72 year old, but, I'm sick and tired of our Club being ridiculed in the courts, and by fans of other Clubs, over this Ashley fiasco. The Rangers Board need to give us total transparency on this extremely damaging situation we are now in. How much will Hummel sue us for as we can no longer deal with them, why did DK lie to us that this was now resolved 2 years ago. Are any of you as worried as I am, because this cannot be swept under the carpet any longer.

I echo your worry irvger. I have been following glasgow rangers everywhere, for nigh on 40 odd years now myself and i'm deeply concerned with this devestating news regarding our retail/ kit deal. I honestly don't know what the end game is going to be here guys. Very worrying times.

Got a friend close to the Dougie Park side and it’s believed inside the board we have real problem and have cocked up big time concerning the kit deal including trying to pay Ashley off? Ashley isn’t going to let this go😌🇬🇧.

Ashley's kit deal dies next year anyway SDI themselves have said it's too late for this year. WE survived for 3 years on nothing sorry 7p in the pound, and nobody bought the kit so who cares. So we tell hummel they can have the 2 years after that instead of one we got a good deal with them anyway. Worst case we have 1 year with no kits for us or our kids. Why not ask hummel to release a new kit at the mid season point and we all buy that for next year there is no embargo on us buying retro kits.

Think your all getting well carried away with this . From my reading it's like this. We have to pay the fat man compo for breaking the contract but the judge decides what that will be . What factors he takes into account I don't know prob sales figures, loss of revenue etc etc . we were tied into I think a 7yr deal for as little as 7p in the £ . Dk knows even with legal expenses and compo we will still be better off . The judge has thrown out the right to appeal, fair enough . Worst case scenario as I'm sure someone else mentioned is hummel bring out new kits well in advance . They will want to maximise profits . We might have to pay them to end the deal early then we're free to do as we wish . I honestly believe that given the circumstances we'll be fine . Stop being scared of every little thing that comes out a court . They use threatening language all the time in the most mundane of cases . This is no different.
