Most of us on here would agree that steven gerrard needs to sign a quality left back, for the new season. I for one have had it with barisic, as i truly believe he's not got the heart or attitude, to play in scottish football, with a club especially the size of ours. He is talented i've always said, which makes it worse i suppose. Over the past week or so we've been linked with 2 left backs, who i think would be good signings for us. I'd take either max lowe on loan from derby county or buy greg taylor from kilmarnock. Both I like, to what i've seen of them. I'd maybe ever so slightly rate lowe the better of the two. Thoughts bears on what has become a problem position for us? Andy halliday isn't a left back and jon flanagan isn't a natural left back either.

Not sure to be honest mate but of those two I would rather Taylor. Although, on his day John Flanagan is brilliant and well suited to Scottish kickbaw. I think we need a centre half, left back, attacking centre mid and a Forward. Maybe two. This mob are falling in the next round. Their legs have gone. They won't come on here and admit it but if you want the proof then look no further than Celtic Rumours/ Banter!

SG Loyal and others, I'm sure you must spend your time trawling through other clubs' websites looking for the most obscure names you can find then linking them with Rangers. God knows how many of such names have been bandied about recently. Don't we have a young left back in Myles Beerman? Oh I forgot, he's too young. Whatever, I'm sure we could do better than some of the names being thrown around and maybe Barisic will come good?

Not seen enough of either to comment on ability but have noticed when the sheep played us max Lowe had a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

Barasic for me is simply not suited to the tough scottish game. I've watched him all season and although he has a great peg on him, he simply can't handle the tough game. Shame because I though he would have been great.

I’m happy to be proven wrong Coop but I think we have a good player in Barisic and we shouldn’t write him off until he’s had a good preseason under his belt. That said, we should still be moving for Taylor as he could be a very good player in the next few years.
