What does my fellow bears think of trying to sign the boy Marriott from Derby. Only 24 and has a decent goal ratio. I know he would command a fee but we could do a deal regarding Tav? Just a thought.

Dont understand why people constantly want to get rid of tav?
If it was up to me I would push him up the park and put Flanagan in at RB, but that's just my opinion. Certainly don't want to see him moved on though.

Totally agree OrangeTinted. I have been battering on about moving Tav on to the right wing all season. If you think about the amount of goals he scores from right back just think how many he could score from further up the field. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FAMOUS.

Tav is a good player for us, yes he needs to be more conscious defensively but the team as a whole aren't solid enough in that respect I think part of the problem we had when we couldn't break teams down was down to playing him and candeias. Candeias is a touchline winger who likes to get a cross in but tav is already there for that so there's no point in having them both out there. If tav plays we need someone in front to drift in and get closer to the main striker. Too often crosses were being fired in to morelos on his own. Maybe having a left footed like hastie out there would open things up.

As1974,leave james tavernier where he is mate. I also just can't understand for the life of me, why with some of our supporters, bring tav's name up first, either to be sold, or taken out the team and stripped of the captaincy. I know money talks, but tav would be a helluva miss, if we were to sell him.

Agree Tav has been great, just not a great defensive player, but a great weapon going forward
