I think we have got to be happy with this year as a whole guys. Stevie would have been told a decent challenge this year and win it next. I would say part 1 is completed. If we win our last 3 games then it will be 6 points in it. Possibly less if they drop more. 81 points would be a very credible points tally for the season and has won the league loads of times. The extended run in Europe and ofcourse the victories over them being a huge highlight for us all. No silverware to show being the only disapointment. Although the Tims would never admit it, Stevie has brought us to within touching distance of them. One or two players of real quality will tip the balance in our favour. So much for the 50 million and 7-8 years to catch them. We are right up their bum and they know it!

The sheep will beat them, we will beat Hibs and them, and on the last day we will pump Kilmarnock and they will lose a last minute winning goal at home to Hearts.
I can but dream, though stranger things have happened! Imagine the timplosion.

02 May 2019 16:53:20
I’ve been having the same dreams seeker.

02 May 2019 17:18:22
That’s Lennon’s Nightmare. It’s like DNA, billion to one.

02 May 2019 17:42:55
We should have done much better this season. They are poor and yet we have failed to maintain any kind of challenge. The last few games have been great and more like a rangers team, but let's not kid ourselves the season overall has been a huge disappointment👍.

Much better than finnish with 81 points? With a whole new team? Coldo have keep the heid and have faith buddy. Next year will be ours!

#55.

Is it coldo water time?

02 May 2019 19:59:06
Coldo is the most pessimistic person on here.

A blind man can see that we have improved under Stevie G.
I for one look forward to going watching the famous now where at this time last year it was embarrassing.
This year was about getting the nucleus of a team sorted and to close the gap on them.
Both have been achieved.
Next year with a couple of quality signings, a clear out of the dead wood and a bit more consistency it will be time to get back to where we belong.

02 May 2019 20:28:40
Yous would think itl be only us signing players nxt season am sure they no stand bk n let us progress so how can u say we'll have then nxt season.

03 May 2019 06:26:12
I agree with coldo to some degree (
what's wrong with me you're probably asking), but of course we did drop stupid points and could have done better, although most clubs could be saying that, at the seasons end,
irrespective of where you finish.
Having said that there's absolutely no doubt, that steven gerrard has made progress, on what was a big rebuilding job, let's not be kidded,
because it was! So taking into account, you are always going to get more inconsistencies when a team is bedding in, with that many new signings! Also got to remember our young manager is learning as well as its his first job in management job,
in what is a massive job, for his first! So all in all i think gerrard has improved us a lot and i truly think next season we'll kick on again under him and give the eastend mob a right challenge and run for their money! In gerrard i most certainly trust. let's GO!

If we played the way we had over the last few games we would have won the league. I know its a new team but that's no excuse for our struggles against the better teams in the league and the cups. celtic have dropped more points this year than they have the last two years, they have regressed. All season up until just before the split we were poor, still dropping points and looking very average. Some of you are easily pleased. From the 2nd half at parkhead until now with morelos out and defoe davis kamara on their game and katic in we look like a recognised rangers team in terms of how we dictate play and boss games. Don't kid yourselfs because before then we were just as inconsistent as pedro or warbs teams. As a whole the season has been a let down but as I said over the last few weeks we look like a rangers team and we need to continue that against hibs celtic and killie and then we can talk about progress👍.

03 May 2019 11:11:34
Coldo, you're a pessimist to be sure. Agree with many they are not as good as they were but they are settled. Although man for man would say we are better side. We are not fully settled side. Some players hardly seen season together. But I am so optimistic.

03 May 2019 11:37:19
SC11. Coldo. Guys Rangers have made massive progress this season, Only through lack of discipline in the final stages of a game, They have either drawn Or got beat, Things could have been o so different.

03 May 2019 13:43:09
Coldo in your words
“ all season up until just before the split we were poor”
I take it you have just forgotten about breaking the club record for the longest unbeaten run in Europe in one season.
Yes some results have been poor. I can’t disagree with that.
However compared to the rubbish that has been served up to us in the past few seasons. This season has been so much better, if you can’t see that something is happening at Ibrox now, you never will.
The whole atmosphere at the games has changed, before it was becoming a chore to go to the games, now I can’t wait for the next one to come along.
We are all entitled to our opinions you have yours and I have mine that’s what football is all about
Anyway come on the teddy bears 🔴⚪️🔵.

Europe was a great bonus. Domestically it has been the same old inconsistent story, struggling against the better sides. We do look more like a rangers team over the last few weeks and hopefully continue that in the last few games. I bet gerrards and the board aims at the start of the season did not include getting pumped out both cups by a team on a tenth of our budget, or to be so inconsistent against teams in the league that again are on a tenth of our budget. I bet gerrard and the board had better aims than that. I'm sure pessimist is the poor mans label for realist. Anyway it is all about opinions, I just expected us to run them closer and not surrender another treble on a whim. Kamara davis katic defoe have made a huge difference so all we can do now is lay a marker and build for next season. This season has been a let down whatever way you want sugar coat it. 👍.

03 May 2019 16:15:59
Rosco something is happening at ibrox now but up until just before the split nothing was happening. that's my point and what I have been saying👍.

03 May 2019 16:23:12
I get what coldo saying. Its been a season of what could've been.
