I have been on the fence regarding Rohl but sorry I'm now fully Rohl out! This actually pains me to write but today has just done me right in to the point I'm no watching any of the last 2 games.
As our esteemed EHL has stressed multiple times, we can't be working on fitness through the season. So my question is what do we actually work on in training? Do we work on tactics? as no single player seems to understand what is asked of them. Do we work on transitions? As again we seem to have ZERO patterns of play going forward and look all over the place when we lose possession and vulnerable! DO we work on individual technical quality? As not a single player looks to have improved (maybe Chermiti and Moore) So again what are we working on?
Now onto team selections, does Rohl just do selection bingo on the morning of a game! Olsen brought in last week when he couldn't be trusted in many prior matches, Antman who wasn't deemed good enough in said games, even off the bench is now picked for an OF game. It's almost like he wants to scapegoat these players! Baron not deemed good enough prior matches and again thrust in. Yet Tochi who has been honking and at fault for the first game is playing 76 mins before Rohl tries to gamble. Then Tav, he is miles aff it and at fault for 2 of their goals. The thinking from his is complete scattergun and a sign of someone who has no idea what to do.
Then I see has post match reaction and there he is saying that there was good things? What planet is he on and what game is he watching?
He is NOT the man to take us forward or win silverware. I will finish with, I hope and pray that after the Falkirk game it's announced he is away and we go and get my number 1 choice in Muscat. Knows the club, knows the league, has a style that we know dominates this league and he won't suffer any passengers! Rohl out! Rant over!

Who would u have started, Jim mate?
10 May 2026 19:39:49
Absolute brilliant post, BBJ.
Agree with it all. ???
10 May 2026 19:44:45
Agree BBJ, he just picks teams and hopes something comes off. It isn't planning, it's amateur stuff. I think he is still an assistant at best; he puts the fear into nobody
10 May 2026 19:45:36
I agree he is tactically inept and will not win us a league title. He is far too inexperienced. The only thing I would say is, he was on a hiding to nothing with the right wing. If he started Olsen, he would have got dogs abuse; if he started Gassama, he would have got dogs abuse, and he is getting but for starting Antman.
There was no right answer for him in the right.
Barron deemed good enough by a lot of people on here, mate. He was a headless chicken today, he had another 9 players the same.

In which position, Noodles? If you mean right wing, then I agree with Storm, there is no right option as they are all utter gash. But he should pick someone and stick to playing them, so they get a run of games instead of chopping and changing. Midfield, absolute no clue, as it's an area we are severely lacking in, but I'd have done Bajrami to do the job he usually does on McGregor.
Aye, I agree, Barron was awful the day, Storm, but is that because he has hardly played etc etc.
I actually want someone to tell me what we work on in training, as it's a serious question. I have no clue what we do at all.
I'm just totally scunnert with this whole squad and the manager now. Ps his presser was just a farce and he is feeling it now, you can tell.
10 May 2026 20:10:26
I agree with you on your choice. If Rohl did leave, bbj, ? My choice was always Kevin Muscat.
10 May 2026 20:19:11
Agree bbj, I like Barron, who was playing well until his injury. To throw him into a game like this with no previous minutes was really unfair imo.
10 May 2026 20:21:34
Sorry, Jim a should have specified the position.
10 May 2026 20:40:58
Coops, I've said Muscat since we just before we appointed Clement and I still stick to it. He is 100% the man we need imo.
Seeker, that's why I'm no having a go at Antman as that lad has hardly kicked a ball all season and thrown into that the day, and worst of it was he was trying to make runs in behind Glass ankles.
All good, Noodles, it could honestly have been any position the day tbf. Hindsight's wonderful, isn't it.

Nobody here has access to the training ground and can't tell you what the team are working on.
What right-wing option do we have? Antman hasn't been performing and neither has Olsen. Both are being given a shot to try and prove themselves before the season's end. They're all we have, and we need to find out if they should be here next season.
Most of you wanted Barron playing, then when he does, you accuse the manager of trying to "scapegoat" (do you mean throwing them under the bus?).
Tav is leaving, and the fans have abused and disrespected him for years. He doesn't care anymore, and I don't blame him. Even if we won today, you'd still hate Tav and want him gone. He can't win no matter what he does.
What style does Muscat have? The same one Ange had? Even if we hired Ange instead of Rohl, the squad is not capable of playing that type of high intensity football. Any manager would be in the same position working with a squad that just isn't good enough.
10 May 2026 21:01:02
Rohl spot on mate. ??
10 May 2026 20:57:04
Exactly Rohl With Cheese, I wasn't going to comment on that as it is that ridiculous majority wanting him to start, and when he is bad it's the manager's fault. ?♂️
10 May 2026 21:19:27
I actually can't tell if you're picking up points the wrong way just to be that argumentative type or just mis-reading everything I wrote!
Antman again has hardly played all season so would be lacking match sharpness yet picked for what was a must win game against our biggest rivals in their own back yard. Maybe, just maybe, he should be giving those players a run of games then instead of in and out!
Never have I been in the camp of Barron playing, yes he usually brings energy but is miles off the quality of player we need. Not throwing the player under the bus, but as an excuse because he had to make changes and use players who are lacking game time.
Well, if you want your captain having a ball floated over his head, just jogging back with his arm raised instead of busting a gut and blocking the cross then appealing for it, then well done, you have a great captain. You know the man that is supposed to set the standards for the rest of the team! Also, I don't hate Tav, but he overstayed his welcome by 3 years too long.
Also, we actually have some on here who know what goes on in training.
Instead of asking me, why don't you go and look at Muscat's style and make your own informed decision.
10 May 2026 21:22:32
I'm afraid it's Rohl out for me, he said 5 cup finals and has shown nothing since we came back from the break. The players are obviously going to take the blame but he's the manager and needs to take responsibility. If we had shown some fight and desire or even a style of play or strategy then maybe I'd say different but we've simply just Rohlled over.
Not good enough, not even close and we didn't win anything because we simply don't deserve to. It's over to Hearts and them now.
10 May 2026 22:15:21
Can anybody confirm whether or not they think Barron was playing well before his injury, and indeed was a first pick for the manager? Did he not then bemoan the fact the wee guy was going to be out for months rather than a few games, and he would be a big miss? Or is it just me imagining things?

I struggle to understand how Muscat knows the league. When was he last involved with Scottish Football? Coming up for 25 years since he was last here and was only here for a couple of years.
