Hi guys, 1st time posting, what's people's opinion regarding Djiga being dropped for the game at the weekend, I personally think he has easily been our best defender in the last 4, 5 games, obviously making a massive improvement from his early days at the club?

He was on the bench for 2 of those 4/5 games. He has gone back to playing like he did when he first came into the team, though.

I'd say rotated more than dropped. I just think this is what Rohl will do more after adding in January.

I feel he's much better on the left, another example of a good player disregarded after a couple of errors. I'd say he felt Scottish football would be a breeze and now knows. Doubt if his loan will turn into anything else.

From the Ludogorets game, he's been our best centre half, imo. I'd have him beside Fernandez instead of Souttar.

I think he has progressed recently in the games he has played.

I would also drop Souttar for him.

Our starting 11 CBs are Souttar and Fernandez, and I am happy with that. Djiga is decent and nowhere near as bad as made out on here sometimes, but when he did make mistakes earlier in the season, it led to goals directly. I'm sure he'll feature a fair bit during the run-in from the bench, and start a few games as part of the rotation.

Our strongest centre half pairing is Souttar and Fernandez for me, absolutely no doubt. ? I will, however, admit Djiga has improved from his earlier performances for us. ?

He has never ever been your best defender. He's an absolute bomb scare.

Apologies, that should have been our best defender. An extra letter slipped in when I was half asleep.
