He has looked good this season and is being touted for the Scotland squad, in fact, I heard one pundit say that he would be better than Tierney as cover for Robertson.
I just think that his age would be a factor in us signing him, and would he want to be second choice to Rommens at this stage of his career. Stranger things have happened though.

Hearts are going to be title challengers from now on imo.
3 teams challenging at the top is like a breath of fresh air for me. It's really gotten me back interested in Scottish football as opposed to just Rangers.
Their players won't leave Hearts to sit in the stands for the Old Firm.

Always impressed whenever I have seen him.
He would be a very good back-up for the league, but Hearts would want a good fee. Cornelius to cover LB & CB seems a more sensible option if the price is reasonable.

Fork wasn't announced at the time, but I think the GBP 4M came about as that was what he was signed for by Marseille. You know how the press always say a club will want to get back what they paid. ?

I certainly wouldn't want to go into next season with Cornelius as our only backup for left back. He can fill in there, but he is never a left back.

For everyone saying he will leave Hearts, he's on 2k a week. He's never been on more than 1k for the rest of his career. He's 29. If we come offering him 6k a week over 3 years, he will jump. That's life changing money.

I now think we won't sign Derek Cornelius permanently, and our big interest in Dundee left-sided centre-half Luke Graham probably suggests that, i.e., he's Scottish, he's younger, and he'll be much cheaper to buy on a lower wage. ?
