We've paid 10 million for a project player. Folk think that 5mill for Megahom is good business. Would someone like Jack Kingdon not have been worth a shot could have been free captained man u18s played senior football for Rochdale now Swansea u 21 captain. Pretty sure he's from a Rangers family. He'd have been a better option to me than Fernandez.

The issue is with Meghoma, we've had the chance to see him in action before we splash out a huge sum.
Some folk after seeing him play a dozen games think it's is good business and some don't (fair enough). An England youth international, who looks quite assured for his age. Spend £5M and it it looks like you can easily double that fee in a couple of years.
If we had done the same type of deal with Chermiti, after a dozen games would anyone be willing to shell out £10M for him? I doubt it,

5m is not really that much for Meghoma, only 19 and we couldn't afford him very soon, personally I'd be signing him, still need an experienced lb as well though.

I think Meghoma has been better than both Jefte and Yilmaz, and give Chermiti time to show his worth.

The problem is that Meghoma isn't any better than Jefte or Yilmaz, he certainly can't defend as good as Yilmaz whose only problem was he was never fit. Buying another full back who can't defend would be madness.

£8 million is to much 5million is yilmaz and Calvin Ramsey money not a lot for a young full back.
