I think we do get a percentage guys

Sorry but I think a lot of the posts in this are wrong?

When Bayern ended that loan early and arranged for his move to PSV, Rangers negotiated a hefty clause:
They received £1 million compensation immediately, plus 10 % of any future transfer fee
That means Rangers are indeed due a percentage specifically 10% of any future sale involving Malik Tillman
Reports say Bayer Leverkusen are in the final stages of signing Tillman for around €35-40 million
With a 10 % sell-on, that means Rangers would pocket roughly €3.5-4 million (~£3-3.2 million) from this transfer.

Stig that's what I'm reading too mate.

30 Jun 2025 12:16:00
Stingo this can't be correct mate, so every time Tillman moves clubs we get 10% of the fee paid.
Ed001 you'll know about his mate, what's you thinking?

{Ed001's Note - I very much doubt it will be in any deal that does not involve Bayern.}

30 Jun 2025 12:29:49
From a quick check, it looks like we would receive a sum only if Bayern had bought him back, which isn't the case.

30 Jun 2025 12:29:54
So the 10% only comes into it if Bayern bought him back

We didn't receive 10% when he went to PSV
We received a payment as compensation for the cancelled agreement 1 million.
we didn't get any percentage of sale money for his move to PSV

so the 10% either was for any future sell on which would be part of his sale this time around

Or it's only a 10% percentage if he Went back to Bayern - which would be a bad agreement on our part.

It should have been for any future sale. Which I'm still hoping it is?

30 Jun 2025 12:31:26
This is speculation but could it be 10 percent of a sell on clause that bayern inherits?
Percentage of any future transfers related to bayern if that makes sense?

30 Jun 2025 12:36:08
Seems to be mixed reports on this

If we received 1 million compensation plus additional 1.2 million so 2.2million total when he moved to PSV permanently

Then yes the 10% percentage has already been used up meaning nothing more owed to us.

30 Jun 2025 12:38:15
Psv ain't giving us money when they never dealt with us. We are getting diddly squat.

30 Jun 2025 12:43:11
Stig, we received £1.2m after he signed for PSV.

30 Jun 2025 12:43:17
Cheers Ed001.
Stingo don't think anyone knows, wouldn't have got anything for this move, think it was 1m plus 10% of the 12m PSV paid for him, probably in euros so am going for 1.8/ 9m.

30 Jun 2025 12:48:46
We got 1.2 off the 12million 10%.

30 Jun 2025 13:06:24
Stig I thought we got compensation and a 10%.

a fee for bayern cancelling as compensation then the 10% of the 12 million transfer fee.

i'm sure i read at the time we got 2.2 million in total because lots on here were talking about how it was a great deal for a player we don't even own.

30 Jun 2025 13:37:27
Guys, i really can't see us getting any money from his move.

30 Jun 2025 13:44:08
I was sceptical of this so had a look and found an explanation of the additional 10% for this deal (perhaps) . we got £1M in cancellation of original deal plus 10% of deal where Bayern sold him to PSV (£1.2m) . there are reports that we would have got 10% of the 35M euros fee were Bayern to buy him back. However some outlets are also saying that if Bayern chose not to activate that clause (which they havent) then Bayern would be due us 10% of the fee which Tillman is sold for. So if true the 10% would come from Bayern. might be rubbish but explanation of it anyway.

30 Jun 2025 14:33:08
Angus seems all mixed reports

Although if they guys ☝️ are correct we received the 1.2 million in addition to the 1 million cancellations fee then I'd say it's been used and that our part of it has been finalised.
Meaning nothing more owed.

30 Jun 2025 14:48:05
Think if anything it would be 10% of the percentage Bayern get from PSV which would be about 500 grand if true.
