Is it just me or does anyone else think that the other lot are seriously under estimating the challenge ?we are going to give them next season, my reasoning is because everything is being kept inside no rumors a very good management.

I honestly don't think they really care at this point they fully expect to win a treble again and as things stand you would have to say they would probably win the league easily as it stands.
Once we sign some players we can maybe start to think about winning things again but with both squads as they are right now its not likely imo.

No, I actually think the opposite.
I think they are going to be much stronger next season and we're being a little naive in terms of the 49ers revolution.

At this point they've nothing to fear. Unless we sign 4 or 5 players 1st team quality they won't have anything to worry about.

To be honest, they've signed a player in a position we're in desperate need of for less than 2m, and he's a cracking player at that too. Their ability for signings seems to be miles ahead of ours, spend little on players they'll turn a massive profit on.

Sorry but this not hearing things is just people trying to put a positive spin on nothing much happening. We'll bring in players if and when others leave. I expect barring one or two changes to be much the same come panathanikos game.

I'd tend to agree with EHL. Neither we nor them have made 'marquee' signings. Nygren is a good bit of business. If I was to invest in a players I'd go for their signings over ours so far - apart from Doohan.
I've always reckoned this will be a 3-5 year project and am not expecting titles for the first 3 - although I'd love to be proven wrong ?.

I don't think it's practical to make this squad title contenders within one window. Will probably need 4 or 4.
Success next season will probably be a cup and keeping the league to within 10points.
And most importantly progress. Something we never seen under PC.
