Can I ask a couple of question.
Will the new manager have a say in signings?
Or has he been brought in to play a certain way with the players we have?
Or will he be expected to adapt to the players we have?

Players will be identified that align with the style the club are moving too. The head coach will then coach and mould these players.

Kevin Thelwell told us the other day he will have a say mph, he also told us he's never signed a player his manager never wanted.

Alot of emphasis on HEAD COACH I'm taking that to be he's here to coach, improve players, tactics etc but not have a lot of say in players coming in.

From what I've been told he's asked for 4 of his own players to come in from clubs he's managed before so he has a core of players who play his style.

MPH there is a story on the BBC Rangers pages where Thelwell briefly covers it. I know it is the BBC but worth a read as it explains it slightly better. says what My Star says tbh.

MPH, the head coach will identify the areas of the squad they feel needs strengthening and feed this on to the recruitment team - along with the coaches at other levels within the club.
DP will then be responsible for ensuring that we're actively monitoring the right players to meet these needs and table a number of suggestions.
Then KT, DP and RM will then review the options and decide on the right players for that moment.
The club right now is in a really good position, as we have identified a significant roadmap of talent across various age groups.

Thought was explained well in presser. Very much all work together on it. Identifying what wanted, recruitment identity players then talk with manager/ coach and decide together. No point forcing players on a manager they don't want.

Broste, of course he can recommend players - but DP and his team would need to carry out their scouting review + due diligence of you like.
Otherwise, we end up back in a MB situation.

Glad process / diligence etc will be followed across all recruitment.
I get feeling signings will create a bit of turbulence similar to RM fallout. As they'll be a mix of potentials with a limited amount of experienced campaigners thrown in.
