Must say I didn't see that appointment coming . BUT, that name he has is very respected in world football and coming from no less than Real madrid coaching the top players in the world is sure to attract top players in our price range . The 49r's have money to burn so if they give this lad a war chest then all good. No doubt if things ain't working he makes a call to pop to get it right and Pop is one of the best . prefer this to gerrard and the old guard with old habits . we are going up in the world. imo. just hope he doesn't mind ross county in january lol.
